Please join Trails 2000 for Trailwork at the Three Springs Trail on Thursday, April 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All weekend warriors, trail blazers, wanderers and trail lovers alike are invited to volunteer and should meet at the Spurline Trailhead. Registration is requested below. No experience is necessary for trailwork, and Trails 2000 will provide the necessary instruction and safety tool talk, all tools, gloves and water for volunteers.
When: Thursday, April 27, 2019 4pm to 7pm; please come for as much or little time as you can.
Where/Directions: From the intersection of Hwy 550 and Hwy 160 go east on 160 to Three Springs Blvd. Go north on Three Springs Blvd. At the first roundabout make the first right continuing on Three Springs Blvd. to the second roundabout. At the second roundabout make the first right onto the gravel road and the Spurline Trailhead is 100 yards ahead on the right. Total distance from the intersection of 550/160 is 2.8 miles and travel time is less than 5 minutes. You’ll meet Trails 2000 crew leaders Jack and Oliver, who will provide all tools and instruction.
What to wear: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes or boots, long pants, shirt (long or short sleeved), sun hat, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and rain jacket (optional). Trails 2000 will provide all tools, instruction, gloves and water.
