The Saul’s Creek trail system is in the San Juan National Forest about 3 miles east of Bayfield, CO, made up of gas roads and double track. You may encounter motorcycles or horses.
To get to the Saul’s Creek trailhead, drive east on Highway 160 from Bayfield. Turn right on CR 526 (with the sign “National Forest Access, Saul’s Creek). Take the first left on CR 527 and the signed trailhead is about 1 mile down the road.
