As part of our education program and to provide trail users with quality information, Trails 2000 helps the community with maps. We assist the people who publish maps and help them refine their products for accuracy and user readability. We also provide GPS surveys and provide the data. We work with both the private and public sector to provide accurate trail maps.
Because of our extensive involvement in the trail network, Trails 2000 has chosen to produce one map, the Telegraph Trails Map and we give it away for free. Trail enthusiasts find it very useful and are able to find copies at a number of Durango locations, including the Durango Area Tourism Office, tel. 1(800)525-8855. The backside of the Telegraph map also includes an Animas River Trail map with park listings.
