Maps

As part of our education program and to provide trail users with quality information, Trails 2000 helps the community with maps.   We assist the people who publish maps and help them refine their products for accuracy and user readability. Telegraph Trail Map   We sometimes do GPS surveys and provide the data.   We work with both the private sector and government toward good trail maps.

Because of our extensive involvement in the trail network on Durango's eastern edge, Trails 2000 has chosen to produce one map, the Telegraph Trails Map and we give it away for free.   Trail enthusiasts find it really useful and are able to find copies at a number of Durango locations, including the Durango Area Tourism Office, tel. 1(800)525-8855.

Trails 2000 does not sell maps.   We have chosen to leave map selling to the retailers who want the business and who are experienced at merchandising.   Below appears a list of Trails 2000 supporters who do sell trail maps and we hope you'll touch base with one or more of them.   We know you'll find these merchants of assistance.

Trails 2000 supporters like to display their Trails 2000 stickers and membership certificates.   They have, from time to time, inquired about wearables.   The group responded and produced some really nice t-shirts.   The Trails 2000 T-Shirts are wicking tee's made of cozy synthetic material by DuoFold and are way comfortable.   They are available in size medium, large and extra large and suggested retail is $24.95.   Part of your purchase price goes to trails.
