Trailwork on Twin Buttes, June 14

Join Trails 2000 for Trailwork on Twin Buttes Trails on Wednesday, June 14, 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Crews are asked to meet at the Twin Buttes parking area behind the Giant gas station off Highway 160, from which they will hike or bike to various work sites to perform trail maintenance. No experience is necessary for trailwork, and Trails 2000 will provide the necessary instruction and safety tool talk, all tools, gloves, and water and snacks for the entire crew.

When: Wednesday, June 14, 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. (add to GoogleCal, iCal/Outlook); please come for as much or as little time as your can.
Where/Directions: Twin Buttes Trails; meet at the Twin Buttes parking area behind the Giant gas station off Highway 160. From Durango, go west on Highway 160. At 0.4 miles past Wildcat Canyon Road, you’ll see a dirt parking lot behind the Giant gas station on the North side of the road. Park here and sign in at the work truck for details and directions.
What to wear: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes or boots, long pants, shirt (long or short sleeved), sun hat, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and rain jacket (optional). Trails 2000 will provide all tools, instruction, water and snacks. Waiver must be signed at trailwork site; anyone under 18 must have parents sign waiver and bring to trailwork.
